I’ve been reading the documents that were released 11/26/08 relating to the Caylee Anthony case on DocStoc this morning.  <yeah, I know…there’s better things to read about or do on a rainy Sunday morning but my curiosity won>  You can read the documents too HERE at DocStoc! 

After reading them, I must say that never before has it been this obvious to me that Casey Anthony was hell-bent on looking for love in all the wrong places.  A trait common in young girls who grew up without a father or strong family foundation!!
But, that wasn’t the case for Casey!!  It seems to me that the only dysfunction she had was that she was spoiled!!  Her mother, father and brother love her dearly and from what I can tell, she had a good base of genuine friends!!

Did all of that change when she turned 21 and could legally drink?  Did a whole new world open up for her, as its been reported that she recently “took a turn” away from her childhood friends and hooked up with a different, more exciting crowd!?

Check this out.  The following is an excerpt from the Investigation Report [docstoc.com] written by Corporal Yuri Melich and Corporal Eric Edwards: [emphasis mine]

“Casey Anthony also juggled several intimate relationships.  During the month of May 2008, it was discovered that Casey Anthony maintained a relationship with Ricardo Morales, started a new relationship with Anthony Lazzaro, and reported to friends that she had a recent miscarriage with a United States Serviceman known as “Brandon“, via her MySpace account, and introduced Anthony Lazzaro as her new love interest.  Casey Anthony’s nightlife was much more active during the months of June and July.  Casey Anthony maintained a constant relationship with Jesse Grund during the entire time frame researched.  In July, Casey Anthony was reportedly concerned that Anthony Lazzaro was going to move back to New York, so she started to for a foundation for a possible relationship with William Waters.”

She seemed so afraid to be alone but the whole time she had one of the greatest companions a person could have!  A 2 year-old small version of herself, with roof over her head, free food provided and a swimming pool out back!   

I was a single mother during my daughter’s first 3 years and we had a blast!!  And I was thrilled and proud to give my mother the time with her granddaughter when I went out with friends or had to work!  I didn’t have a great relationship with my mother but my child was more important than anything!  Caylee didn’t have to die!!

I wonder what ticks inside of a head that can conceive such a thing as Casey Anthony is accused of?
And am I the only one who wishes that they could still use sodium-pentethal to get the truth?!

Also, while reading through the documents, it dawned on me that there is little chance of finding an impartial jury, isn’t there?  But, juries are chosen every day for trials that seem just as impossible!

With the evidence and testimony available, I don’t even think that a body necessary to convict her any more!!  I feel that even with the best representation, Casey will never walk free again and could possibly even go on death row because of her deception and tricks!  Someone who can kill their own child would be capable of anything, including harming or killing someone they don’t know or love!

It would be wonderful to have Caylee back where she belongs for a proper burial and closure.  There’s never closure until you know for sure.  I speak from first-hand knowledge that you never stop searching, ever.  But, Casey Anthony doesn’t care about any of that.  She only cares about herself!  So sad!

ON A PERSONAL NOTE:

Sometimes it doesn’t matter how good of a parent you are, how conscientious you were as they were growing up and how hands-on you were.  Sometimes, their individuality shines through and has nothing to do with what we, as parents have taught them or shown them through our actions.  Sometimes the truth sucks.

In the sport of Enduro racing, the old saying goes, “What do you call riders who are in your way on the trail?  Traction!!“ 
That’s enduro racing!  Men (and a few women) on dirtbikes going as fast as they can through trails in the woods that are narrower than what you’d walk through!  It does not apply to shopping unless, of course, its Black Friday!

I’ve never personally participated in the traditional holiday of shopping on Black Friday.  Maybe its because the deals that are being offered can be beat elsewhere.  Maybe its because I start shopping in October as I take advantage of online catalog’s clearance pages.  Or, maybe its because I watch the news!

For years I have been watching the Friday morning local news on Black Friday to witness the phenomenon known as Black Friday.  When people camp out to get the best deal on a TV that’s larger than most windows in the people’s houses, and treat eachother like traction!!

This years horror story comes out of Valley Stream on Long Island.  Jdimytai Damour, God Rest his soul, a 34 year old Wal-Mart employee was opening the doors at 6 a.m. when the crowd rushed the door, bending the metal on the doors frame and trampled Jditmytai to death!  Employees and people who tried to help Jditmytai were also trampled but not killed.

Think about it!  If you were in that crowd and were being pushed forward and you looked down, at one point you might have stepped on this man!  MERRY CHRISTMAS!  I hope the TV, stereos and other wonderful things give you immense pleasure for the two or three years that it will last, as it is well-known that things don’t last much longer than their warranty!

According to the PhillyBurbs:

Kimberly Cribbs, who witnessed the stampede, said shoppers were acting like “savages.”
“When they were saying they had to leave, that an employee got killed, people were yelling `I’ve been on line since yesterday morning’,’” she said. “They kept shopping.”

According to Detective Lt. Michael Fleming, a Nassau County police spokesman, they have been reviewing the surveillance video but say that its a difficult feat to try to unravel but he also stated that criminal charges were possible!  Yes!  The last I checked, causing the death of another whether it be accidental or not, is illegal!  What the hell is wrong with people? 

This is only one story of what I’m sure is a large list of incidents across the country on Black Friday morning!  I seriously think that retailers need to rethink this whole Black Friday thing!!  Why not make the price of things relative to what they’re worth all of the time?  Why tempt people to act like savages for something that means nothing in the end? 

And why would people go through so much trouble for these things?  The last time I checked, we were heading into or already in a recession, unemployment is at an all-time high and people are losing their homes!  Who are these people who can afford an $800 TV and who the heck was that good that they deserve it in their stocking?! 

My peers are idiots!!

My heart goes out of Jdimytai Damour’s family and friends and all who were injured on the kick-off of this holiday season!

I was just saying to John the other day that the economic situation is going to separate the proverbial “chaff from the wheat”.  A term I use because not because I’m religious but because it’s one that people I know <all 3 or 4 of them> are familiar with.  

Take what Monique White and her husband Doug from Littleton, Colorado did yesterday, for instance!  Doug is called “long time partner” in the news but I’m going to refer to him as hubby.  If she or he oppose, let me know.  I’d love to hear from you!

Monique and Doug were living with horrible conditions in a small motel toom this time last year.  But, things have turned around.  Now she and Doug are working steady and have bought a townhouse together and although they are barely getting by with these tough economic times, they had enough to share with others who are less fortunate this year!

Monique posted a two-sentence ad on Craigslist for people to join her and Doug for Thanksgiving dinner since her sons were with their father this holiday.  She figured a few would respond but instead she had dozens or replies! 

From CBS4Denver: [paraphrased]

“Instead, dozens replied. People laid off from work. People with no family. People ashamed to bring their children to a charity Thanksgiving dinner at a soup kitchen.

“I thought there was no way I could judge who is worthy of sitting at my table. I have to invite them all,” White said, sitting at her dining room table as she went over some of the e-mails.

So all 32 people who responded are coming over for Thanksgiving dinner.
White’s boss heard what she was doing and said he’d pay for the food.   
….
A local hotel is bringing over tables and chairs. A professional magician in the area replied and offered to come perform for the kids. National media outlets have shuffled through the Whites’ modest town house writing about the unusual offer.”

One charitable act enabled others to do something too and today a whole bunch of people feel good!  The givers and the receivers!  <awesome!>

I hope that Monique and Doug’s efforts will inspire others as well as warm the hearts of those who are on the brink of desparation…we’ve got your backs!

To me, this is the epitome of how America can get through the present and future crisis’!  It’s not what happens to you or where you’re at in life, it’s how you react that matters!

Doug White said it best.  “People need to stop being so worried about me, me, me, my bills, my life. You stop worrying, and look what happens?”

As the search for Caylee Anthony continues, the lives of those left behind continue to unravel as the twisted tale has grown a tail of it’s own and it has whipped so many people into this story! 

It should be a tale about a mother and a daughter and the devoted grandparents preparing for a 3rd Christmas…probably one of the BEST Christmas’ for a child and their family!!  The child was too young to really “get it” before but by age three, there is nothing like it!! 

As this twisted tale goes, we learned the Casey Anthony has gained a new lawyer (sort of?). 
Dr. Henry Lee, a “marquee name” best known for his involvement in the OJ murder case is now assisting Casey Anthony’s defense team! You may remember how he testified that the way the police handled the blood evidence was not up to snuff and is considered to have played a large role in OJ getting acquitted.  <nice guy!> 

I would like to know who the hell’s paying for his services!  Does this mean that he’s going to get Casey off of the murder charges on a technicality?  Wouldn’t it be cool if he came out a week after looking at the evidence and says that he see’s no reason for his services!!  i.e.  The girl’s guilty!

According to the Orlando Sentinel,

“Defense-team spokesman Todd Black gave few details on how Lee became involved, but did say the expert will be around for some time.
“It’s not a one-shot deal. Dr. Lee is contracted for the life of the case,” Black said.

The article also stated that Lee was seen investigating the Pontiac Sunfire that Casey Anthony abandoned.  You know…the one that smelled like a dead body?  <how disgusting she is!> 

MEANWHILE…

Leonard Padilla was asked to take a lie detector test after his team found toys, trinkets and bones in the Little Econlockhatchee River which were not Caylee’s.  I guess they can’t figure out if he’s out for the publicity or if after speaking and dealing directly with Casey and getting that negative pathological energy from her that he doesn’t have a vendetta?  I would!!  I’d spend every breathing moment making sure that she didn’t walk.  Remember that he’s one of the few who has no emotional ties to Casey Anthony and had access to her after she returned home from jail!  I think, although he’s gruff, may be a key witness for the prosecutors!!  But, I really don’t understand the reason for the lie detector…

And according to WFTV9.com,

“Also Friday, Padilla dropped a new theory involving the Anthony family pool. He believes, after Caylee die from a chloroform overdose, Casey put her body in the swimming pool to test the buoyancy of her body and then used the neighbors shovel to fish Caylee out of the pool before putting her inside a garbage bag.”

Am I the only one who wishes that they could still use sodium-penethol to get the truth out of people like Casey? 

An eyewitness reported the she saw George Anthony staring out into the woods near Hoffman Avenue on October 30th.  He pulled his car over on a wooded road to stare out at the woods for a while.  Was he trying to tell us something? 
<& I love this part…> As news of this sighting spread, Cindy Anthony text messaged WFTV reporter Kathi Belich to say George was looking at the woods to scout out another possible location for the rolling billboard that bears Caylee’s photograph and the phone number to call for information. 
<I wonder where Casey got her pathological liar gene from?>

I also believe that a person who spends their life in the justice field, like George has, never really loses that inner drive and regardless of who it is, justice must be served!  He’s probably already figured it out and he won’t be able to lie if/when he’s called on the stand and neither will Cindy!  Or Lee for that matter! 

Aside from all of this, there is rumor that Cindy Anthony is working a book deal which she denies and a deputy, Todd Bosinkski, the owner of Blackwater Divers, has resigned from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, because he had lied to his captain when he said he was a Special Forces medic in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Seriously, what is it with the people involved in this case?  You may remember that Anthony Rusciano, an Orange County deputy resigned because he lied about knowing Casey better than he did!?  It’s crazy, huh?

Also, the witness list was released with 83 witnesses on it so far!  One named person of interest is Brian Burner, the neighbor whose shovel Casey borrowed around the time Caylee disappeared.  Also listed are ex-fiance Jesse Grund, former friend Amy Huizenga, and Zenaida Gonzalez, the nanny that filed a law suit, to name a few.  WFTV also states that they have also subpoenaed transcripts from the Nancy Grace Show.

You also might have heard that Casey’s defense team filed a civil countersuit against a woman named Zenaida Gonzalez.  According to WFTV, legal experts say, if Casey files a countersuit, that means she will have to take the stand and that could be used against her in the criminal case.  Experts told Eyewitness News the motion that Anthony’s attorney filed is not even a countersuit, but really a motion to dismiss.

I personally think that they’re trying to baffle us all with bullchips!  The focus is Caylee and there’s so much else going on that I think that gets lost in the muck sometimes.  Too many egos…

Anyway…Casey Anthony (aka #08049710) is expected in court at 9 a.m. Dec. 11 for a pretrial conference. The judge is also expected to rule on motions regarding a check-fraud case against her. 
What a Christmas, huh? 

I know that it’s not easy and sometimes unpopular to find a silver-lining to a dark cloud while the storm is still brewing but, I believe that Caylee lived happily while she was here.  I think that she was loved and that is so important.  Some people live forever and never feel that.

According to ChildWelfare.Gov, 1,530 children died in 2006 from abuse or neglect.

My mind is blown.
