Finally, Drew Peterson Faces Charges!
Drew Peterson <yuck> has finally been arrested for the death of wife number 3, Kathleen Savio, who was found at home dead in a dry bathtub on March 1, 2004.
He is being held on $20 million bond!
From Fox News:
An arraignment is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. CDT Friday in Joliet, Ill.
Glasgow [Will County State's Attorney] said he intends to introduce evidence at trial that would allow Savio “to testify from the grave” through third-party statements uncovered during the investigation.
Peterson was arrested around 5:30 p.m. Thursday after state police surrounded his car at an intersection near his home in Bollingbroke, Ill. Peterson was alone in his car at the time.
“I guess I should have returned those library books,” Peterson said as he was being taken into state police headquarters, the Herald News reported.
What an ass!
There is still no word on where Stacy Peterson is, but maybe this will provide a situation where he can be bargained with in order to put an end to the mystery.
My thoughts and prayers to those who are directly affected.
My praise goes out to those who serve justice!

Prosecutors rarely ever get a conviction as charged from a former cop.

I think they’ll make this an exception.

Not based upon the facts released to the public so far.

Really? I had heard that they have a pretty strong case but who knows?
Hey! Don’t you like Nancy Grace? (as if I had to ask by your avatar)

Yes, Donna, I do like Nancy Grace. I believe she could be an awesome spokesperson for her documented drug and alcohol addiction- problems, as well as an excellent example of what-not-to-do for other journalists, like being an intrical part in obtaining a suicide by a victim she disliked, as well as violating the Law on a continual basis on her show. Not sure how many deaths Nancy Grace is directly involved in producing, since all suicide victims have failed to notify CNN of the impending suicide before they committed the actual act. We do know of at least four beyond Melinda. But, that’s what Predators do.

Was that the woman whose child was missing? That was a shame!
I hate to say that someone caused someone to do something although it appears that way but I have never faced what those who encounter Nancy Grace face…so, I can’t really say how I feel about that…kind of wishy-washy. Nancy’s tough but the people that she interviews are in a position, most times, to justify tough questions. I admittingly don’t watch her often though…too much drama.
I’d like to think that if my child were missing that I’d wait for confirmation as to where she was before I considered suicide regardless of who asks me tough questions, you know?
I lost her once for 15 minutes when she was 4. We were at a large outdoor flea market with all kinds of leery-looking people! I would have never given up! Thankfully the sounds of her crying came over the loud speaker and an exasperated woman asked for the parents of the little girl who won’t stop screaming to come and get her! My husband got to her first and she was fine! It took me 6 hours to calm down and stop crying even after we all got home!
I can and I cannot imagine the pain…
Anywoo…It’s been nice talking to you, Michelle!
