So, My Daughter Finally Read My Blog…
My Kid & I
My daughter Christie, <my only sunshine> who is almost 20 and is much like myself, is also her father’s daughter…in other words, she is a sweet little girl who can act like a 200-pound sheet-rocker at the drop of a pin! She’s awesome!!
For the longest time I asked her what she thought of my blog but she’d say she that she hadn’t looked until recently!
Now, I’d like to say that she gave me raving reviews but all she really had to say was that I talk about Obama a lot! <bummer> I know…I’m sorry! But, this is my space on the world wide web of knowledge and deceit! This is where I compose and share my thoughts <with people that I have no idea why they’d want to read them> and unfortunately, Obama’s been in them <my thoughts> a lot lately!
And I certainly don’t hold it against Christie for the honest answer because you really can’t get better than the truth, right?!
The truth is that I dig the dude! I really do! He seems like a lot of fun and I like him much more than Hillary! She lost my respect when she stood by her man when he broke the most sacred union <imo> and in such a public way! She would have won me over possibly had she done what we all should do to people who are no good and have no respect for us! He would be great as a late night TV show host!
I just don’t like Obama’s ways and means of running this country! Granted you have to stir the bee-hive in order to get the honey but it seems to me that the only person here getting any honey is Obama! And that’s not cool! It’s of the people, by the people, for the people and no one should forget it!
His cabinet choices mirror his choice of the affiliations he had as a young man (Ayers, etc.) but so few have researched this guy that they wouldn’t know that! His choice of which way to go, stage left or stage right, is abhorrent! Spending all of this money…throwing not even good money at bad but money that we don’t even have at bad!
Today GM announces that it is bankrupt! This weekend the Obama’s went out on a date that COST $24,000 AND YOU AND I PAID FOR IT!
I’ve been called naive before but I’m not! I know shit happens! I know that it’s not unusual for us to foot the bill for a Presidential get-away but for Obama and the Mrs. to do this at a time like this is such a slap in the face that I am absolutely amazed that there isn’t a uproar that could be heard from coast to coast!!
So, in closing I have to say this.
I will continue to pay attention because it’s better than being blind-sided and if anything that I write ignites a spark within someone, whether it be about politics or music, that is cool! So, I will continue to write the wandering wonderings of a girl whose head is in the clouds but her feet are firmly on the ground with the hope that things will change and I can spend more time in the clouds! I love clouds!!

Ok, I read the blog, avoid the political parts, but you sucked me in on this one….
How much do you think the taxpayers paid for the entire White House staff, cabinet, security, etc…. to go to Crawford, or the “Western White House” constantly during the prior 8 years?
Now, if the President of the United States takes his wife out on a date, it is different than you or me taking our spouse out (whatever that is). With security, logistics, etc. they can’t just hop in the car and drive up to NY like you can.
Anyways, I’d much rather see the President out on a date with his wife than in the Oval Office with some Intern in a blue dress (OMG, did I just say that?).
As for GM, I’m glad that the division Steve works for was sold before this occurred, but we have seen this coming for a long time. GM has always made poor choices, was not competitive, and has made crappy cars….and yes we have 3 GM cars in the garage.
I do not agree with bailing out GM and Chrysler, especially when I have to budget so tight just for basic groceries, but if we bail out Wall Street then why not bail out Automakers who have made poor choices as well?
Again, I truly believe that Republican or Democrat, it would not have made any difference who is in the Oval Office, and we would be talking about the same things even if McCain had won. Only Rush would have had to find something else to blow off about daily.

You know me well enough to know that I wouldn’t write about it if it wasn’t important to me and factually researched. His night out with Michelle ran $250k at a time like this is not comparable, in my opinion, to weekend retreats to Camp David…
But, it was a campaign promise and I wouldn’t want him to go back on ALL of them!

You also know that my intentions are never to anger other but that I do believe that we all have to go through lessons and trials and triumphs together until we learn our lessons and it honestly doesn’t seem like anyone learned the “false prophet” lesson yet.
Again, just my opinion but seriously…
Being drug around with my peers while they keep running into the same brick walls over and over again is becoming quite daunting!

Because everyone has seen how the government basically bought the auto industry because they squeaked a little! (figuratively speaking)
